There are at least a 100 'free' channels out there on KU band satellites and a lot on C band satellites, it's a hobby of mine, there is a lot of christian programming out there and the arts, entertainmenst and some oldies like you described on Galaxy 10, I believe it is Galaxy 18 now located at 123 degrees west. But like you say it is good to read a lot when you can, I have cable but mostly watch my free to air channels, if it wasn't for high speed I would cancel the cable. I spend a lot of time watching T.V, but most surfing the web.
