Last night I received a comment on one of my blog entries that I have chosen not to publish. It looks like someone has found a new and annoying way to aggravate me. They are doing so by abusing the comment feature.

Never Let Go of Hope
January 30th, 2006 by Rose DesRochers · 6 Comments
Have you ever had that sinking feeling? Some say that it’s ever man for himself. Who cares about those that they leave behind in the wake of disaster? These past few weeks I have felt like a passenger on a cruise ship such as the Titanic. Everyone is in such a hurry to get off the sinking ship that their not helping anyone else. The only thing left for me to do is pray and hold on.

Oh Those Spelling Errors
January 24th, 2006 by Rose DesRochers · 8 Comments
Please make it stop.
affect, effect
to, too
buy, by, bye
Oh those spelling errors woes. I am here to confess my sin. Oh the shame. I just typed complement, when I meant compliment.
Talk about Grrrrrrrrrr moments. Don’t you hate those pesky little words that sound alike, but have different meanings and spellings.
compliment and complement.
compliment - an expression of praise or admiration
complement - something that completes or makes perfect
I hate homophones.
I due oh how I due, I mean I do hate homphones.LOL
I’m not sure how many times I’ve said, Please bare with us. I do believe that it’s, please bear with us.
Many of my grammatical errors are the result of homophones. Like Sense vs since.
Sense - meaning feel
Since- refers to passage of time
I need to slap myself or is that I need too slap myself. Quick, I need a refresher lesson on the basics of homophones.
My next blog entry - Where do I stick that comma?

Every woman needs romance in her life. Shawn and I have a wonderful marriage but we live a very frantic life. We have two children, two businesses that we run and by the end of the day we are exhausted. We realized long ago that we need to take time out of our busy day to day routine for each other.

The Skelton Key
January 15th, 2006 by Rose DesRochers · No Comments
The Skelton Key in my opinion was an excellent movie and one that I highly recommend. It did not have the predictable ending that most movies have. I wouldn’t be so quick to classify it a horror movie though. It was more an edge on your seat suspense. The ending is definitely shocking. Rent this movie–you will not be disappointed.

Sad Upsetting News
January 5th, 2006 by Rose DesRochers · 1 Comment
I got some bad news today. I have been waiting six months to see a rheumatologist. I thought it was an orthopedic surgeon that I needed to see. But the nurse informed me on the phone today that it was a rheumatologist. She had faxed my referral in July to a doctor in Kingston. Today she informs me that doctor can not see me as she is going on Maternity leave. To make matters worse, the referral is no longer any good and I have to go back to the clinic on Saturday to get another referral. She mentioned sending me to Ottawa, Toronto, or Peterborough. Anyway, it is going to be another six months on a waiting list. The chronic pain has become almost unbearable and now to find out that I have to wait another six months and travel such a long way, just to see a doctor is very upsetting.
