Today’s Woman Writing Community was founded 4 years ago. Sense then Shawn and I have founded three more websites. You would not believe the stuff as adminstrators that we have had to deal with. If we had a dime for every nasty email, rude forum post or blog post that we’ve read where someone attacked us then we would be wealthy. After a while you just learn to ignore it.

Fluid Retention

I knew there was something wrong a few days ago besides my having the flu. It looks like my oedema(Edema) is back and I have begun to retain fluid again. My ankle is swelled up and you can see the fluid retention in other areas of my body. Hubby thinks it is from a high salt intake. I have been drinking about five or more cups of chicken broth a day sense I came down with the flu, so my blood pressure is most likely up. I’m so not looking forward to going to the clinic. This really sucks!

Is Posting Children’s Pictures Online Dangerous?

Rocks in my Dryer has a post on why she does not post her children’s photos on her blog. Please drop by and read it. Something happened very early in her blogging experience that tipped her off to an important frightening reality of the blogosphere. My Mother, My Friend: Old Wives Tales and Lies my Mother Told me

My mother passed away five years ago. I still think of her often and miss her. She was the first one that I called when something wonderful happened in my life or when I was feeling down and needed someone to talk to. I use to call her every evening just to hear her voice before she went to sleep.
