We Interrupt our regular blog schedule to bring you this announcement. Tonight my toe was in the wrong place at the wrong time. There I was minding my own business when our tranquility fountain jumped out at me. Actually I walked into it and stubbed my toe.

Pee and Poo Dolls-Potty humor
July 16th, 2008 by Rose DesRochers · 4 Comments
Leave it to a designer in Switzerland to design a poo doll. I’m not talking Winnie the Pooh either. Now your child can have their very own pee and poo doll. These stuffed dolls shaped like a drop of urine and a little poop were originally a project by 22 year-old Emma Megitt for her Masters of Design Thesis at Göteborg University. These dolls are described as cute, cuddly and unique. Well they are definitely unique.

July 16th, 2008 by Rose DesRochers · 5 Comments
“I never promised you a rose garden. Along with the sunshine, There’s gotta be a little rain sometimes.” I have experienced one of those days days when a song gets stuck in your head. Every since our tour of the rose garden yesterday I have been singing ” I never promised you a rose garden. Along with the sunshine, There’s gotta be a little rain sometimes.” Please make it stop.
I’d like to invite you to my recent trip to the “Rose Garden”. We all need a little break from our stressful days and believe me my days are stressful.

July 15th, 2008 by Rose DesRochers · 8 Comments
In yesterday’s post “The mp4 player takes a spin” I mentioned that I did something to the white puppy from Polly Pocket’s Magic Movin’ Ultimate Clubhouse. I didn’t say what though. Are you wondering what I did or has the title given it away?

July 15th, 2008 by Rose DesRochers · 3 Comments
On Tuesday July 8th, I received an unsolicited email from Maggie O’Neal. The email stated a disclaimer that it was for the named person’s use only, but the email did not address me by my first name. Maggie works for enCircle Media. (Encirclemedia.com)
enCircle Media is an online media company founded in 2007. I sent an inquiry to enCircle Media asking if it was practice for their company to send spam.

What not to do with your Mp4 player
What happens when a mp4 player meets with your washing machine and then your dryer? I can tell you that it is not a pretty picture. If you don’t believe me then see for yourself.

Elderbloggers- Older Bloggers in the Blogosphere
July 14th, 2008 by Rose DesRochers · 9 Comments
It’s never to late to start a blog. I thought it was pretty cool the first time I visited ‘GaryGay-Three Scores Plus Ten ‘blog. I was impressed that at the age of 71, Gary had started blogging. Each day he returns to his keyboard to blog. You could easily see that he has been bitten by the blogging bug.
Today, on BloggerTalk.net I learned of Olive Riley of South Wales, Australia, who died over the weekend at the age of 108. She was considered the world’s oldest blogger. Olive Riley began blogging in February 2007.
Olive and Gary are not the only older people that has been bitten by the blogging bug. I was unaware their was already a well-established elderblogger network of blogs. Older bloggers are staking a place in the blogosphere.
