Google has made child pornography an “obscenely profitable and integral part” of its business and must be stopped, a new lawsuit claims.
Jeffrey Toback, a Democratic representative in New York’s Nassau County Legislature, charged in a complaint filed Thursday that Google has been taking in billions of dollars by allowing child pornography and “other obscene content” operators to advertise their sites through sponsored links, which are tailored to a user’s search terms and automatically accompany search results. The suit was filed in the New York Supreme Court. Read More

If you haven’t listened to Today’s Podcast on Active Christian Media, I recommend that you listen to this. If you’re a parent you need to hear this. I have no words for this right now. I’m still very upset after hearing this young girl’s testimonial.
Masha is a Russian orphan, who was adopted by an American pedophile. Masha adoptive father started sexually abusing her from the age of five and shared hundreds of pictures of her on the Internet. Those photos are still on the internet today.
Masha who is now 13 gives her testimonial at Capital Hill.
I have tears in my eyes after hearing this brave little girl tell of how she was abused. If you have a heart, please listen to this. Please pray for the helpless children like Masha.

I had been meaning to get this photo up, but with hubby’s surgery, I forgot.
Our children made us a lovely anniversary dinner last weekend. They even made us a cake.
Of course they didn’t use all the icing in the bowl, because they wanted to eat the rest, but here is a picture of the finished project.

It really was a sweet gesture.

Be prepared to cringe in agony as you look at this photo.

This is a picture of my husband’s arm, three days after surgery.
My husband recently underwent surgery in an attempt to relieve numbness in all four of his fingers and regain mobility and feeling to his hand.
It had got to the point where his entire hand was cold and numb.
The surgeon has informed us that he may not regain feeling. He said that it’s really too soon to tell. Neither Shawn nor the doctor can determine how the damage to the alner nerve occurred in the first place.

I guess those self defense lessons really paid off. I bet the young man will be having nightmares for a while. I can just hear it now. I got beat up by “Grandma.”
I just have one thing to say about this!

In my heart there is a place where daddy, he never grows old. If I close my eyes, I can see him as plain as day. There is a smile on his face that says, “Hello Baby Girl!”
I was only eighteen the spring that my father passed away. It’s hard to believe that he’s been gone eighteen years today. I don’t talk about my dad as much as I do my mom. I guess it’ because I have many regrets. I regret not telling him that I loved him enough. I regret rebelling.
It’s funny, now that I have my own daughter, I realize that he worried about me and was protective of me, because that was his job as a father. It meant that he loved me. There is so much I wish that I could tell my dad, but it’s too late now.
Time passes so quickly and I miss him. I hope that my mother’s up there telling my dad all about the little girl, who turned into a woman who loved them both. If there is one thing in life that I’m thankful for, it’s being blessed with parents who loved me.
I Miss You Daddy!

Last night my husband and I watched the movie ” The Notebook.” The Notebook is a movie about two young people in love, from two totally diverse worlds. The movie is based on the novel “The Notebook” by Nicholas Sparks. I’ve added this movie to my favorite collection. It is such a heart warming story of true love and the ending of this wonderful love story brought tears to my eyes. I would highly recommend this movie to anyone who enjoys a good love story. I haven’t read the book yet. However, I’ve added it to my “to do list.” They always say that the book is better than the movie. If this is the case here, then I’m in for a real treat.
You can preview “The Notebook” at “The Notebook Official Movie Trailer Preview Site.“
Own you own copy of “The Notebook” today!
