In Jan, 2010 I showed you how to customize your own Twitter background.

Today I want to tell you about a Twitlay, a service that can help you design Twitter backgrounds.

    I’ve uploaded a photo for my Twitter background and customized the colours of the text/links etc. But I didn’t use Twitlay. Now I’m curious what else I could do. I’d eventually like to have a professional photograph taken for my Twitter background, but for now I’m happy with what I’ve got.

    I created my background using Keynote [Mac's version of Powerpoint]. I find the biggest obstacle for me is getting the background to look right for different browsers and screen settings. It looks perfect for me, but is off on other resolutions. Sigh. Maybe I should check out Twitlay.

    that’s a nice addition to Twitter. I have customized mine just by uploading my chosen photo as the background but the software you recommend seems like worth checking for more cool options!
