A new phishing scam is making it rounds on Twitter. The message reads: “You’re on here.” The direct messages includes a link that directs to a fake log-in page.
Yesterday, I received two of these messages. If you receive this message do not visit the link. Never provide your Twitter username and password to any site that looks suspicious.
If you feel that your account has been compromised you should change your password immediately. (Twitter has some suggestions on what you should do if you feel that you account has been compromised and how to tell. See “Twitter Support.”)

Thanks for posting this Rose. I haven’t got one of those yet, but I will certainly be keeping an eye out for it.

THANK YOU for the heads-up.
I don’t tweet as much as I probably should (could) but when I go back on there I’ll watch out for this scam.

Thank you! I know I use some outside applications to access Twitter & they always make me nervous. It can get confusing. Appreciate the tip, will keep a look out!
