Ways that you can make money online

This is a follow up post from my July’s post on how to make money writing online. A question I hear often is “How can I make money online?”

There are a number of different ways that people can make money online from affiliate programs to writing reviews.

Allow me to share with you ten ways that you can make money online from home.

Amazon Affiliate Program – You can receive up to 8.5% in referral fees just by linking to Amazon products. Darren Rowse has made $119,725.45 from the Amazon Associates Program.

Google Adsense is by far the most popular way to make money online. Sign up with Google Adsense and paste some code snippets into your website or blog.

Yahoo! Publisher Network (YPN)- Like Google Adsense Yahoo Publish Network is a PPC(pay-per-click) affiliate program. Yahoo! Publisher Network is only available to publishers within the United States.

Software Judge – If you have strong opinions about software, whether positive or negative, check out Software Judge. Maximum pay per review is $50 and minimum is $1. You will not get paid until your account reaches $200.00. The website states: “The better your work, the more money you get for writing fewer reviews.”

Revver.com-You can earn money by making videos and adding them to Revver. You can also earn money by sharing other people’s videos.

Break.com is a website that features comedy videos, flash games, and pictures. Unlike Youtube, Break pay its users for every video they upload.

BuyBlogReviews.com- Get paid to write reviews with BuyBlogReviews.com. You’re paid 70% commission on each review.Payment is sent on the 1st and the 15th of the month.

Smorty – “Each post will bring you a minimum of $6 US. The Pagerank of your blog along with a high Smorty Star Rating determines whether you receive higher paid ad campaigns.”

Blogsvertise- Blogsvertise is an advertising site that hires bloggers to write about different products and services. According to their website the current payout rate for new accounts is $4 – $25 per entry. Most will fall into the $5-15 range. Payments are made 30 days after your assigned task has been approved and payment is sent via Paypal.

BidVertiser - BidVertiser is a pay-per-click advertising program. Bidvertiser pays through paypal to their publishers with the minimum payout of $10USD. Make money from your Website or Blog with BidVertiser.

This this list should be a good starting place to start making money online today.

Many bloggers and website owners also make money by selling advertising space on their site.

If all else fails, add a donation button to your blog and hope your readership will be kind enough to chip in a couple dollars to buy you lunch. (Why not buy me a coffee?)

There are also a number of freelance writing websites that list online jobs for bloggers. I’ll blog about that in a follow up post.

Be sure to check out my post from July. (Websites that Pay Writers.)

Right now it’s on page 13. I have a long way to go to page 1, but it’s a good start and it didn’t cost me anything. Now someone needs to buy me a coffee. lol

I’m a member of a few of the paid to post sites, such as Blogsvertise and Smorty. The best site used to be PayPerPost, but I reckon they’ve gone downhill ever since they lowered the amount of money offered per post.

Overall Rose it’s a good site but I do have one pet hate. That would be the fact that I nominate an amount I would accept for tasks for individual blogs and yet they will continuously send me emails asking me to complete tasks offering less than was nominated! Why have that setting in the first place?
