Pink for October- Bloggers Spreading Breast Cancer awareness

You will most likely notice that I have changed my header. I’m going pink in support of breast cancer awareness.

Breast Cancer is a subject very close to my heart. If you’ll remember just this year a very dear friend of mine developed breast cancer. In July she had a double mastectomy. Today she is breast cancer free.

This month I’m going pink for her and the 437 Canadian women who will be diagnosed with breast cancer this week. Sadly, 104 Canadian women will die of breast cancer this week.

Remember that early detection is the key to fighting breast cancer. Screening for breast cancer can save lives.

Last year 15,700 websites went pink to promote Breast Cancer awareness during the month of October. I encourage you to do your part to spread awareness. Join me in going Pink for October!

    I can see that you are using a banner ads to support the Breast Cancer Awareness as well. That’s really kind of you. I should push my wife to make a check for breast cancer.

    Thank you for letting me know about the legend. I can’t find any information on it at any of the legend sites. How did you find out?

    I think this is a great idea to promote awareness of breast cancer. I will be joining in on it too.
