Happy Birthday, Rose! Forty is young, sounds young to me, grin… it is the term Middle Age that confuses the issue — we need to dump those words, I picture people in armor and old carts rolling across roadways..

You’re only as old as you feel, Rose! I’m glad you had a lovely birthday.

My mom got called ‘middle-aged’ by a police officer and she very matter-of-factly told him that she wasn’t middle-aged! She’s never felt middle-aged at all, and she’ll be 50 next year.

I hope you have another great 40 years!
