You may have noticed my absence. I apologize for not blogging. Things have been more than hectic and I just haven’t had the time to update things here. It is nice to see that some of you are still with me and welcome to my knew readers.
Last week my husband and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary. It’s so hard to believe that many years have gone by.
We spent the afternoon at “Presqu’ile Provincial Park.” Presqu’ile Provincial Park is located in the town of Brighton.

Presqu’ile has been identified as a important Canadian Bird Area.
Presqu’ile Lighthouse

This lighthouse, which stands 69 feet tall was built in 1840 by Nichol Hugh Baird. You can read more about the lighhouse at “Presqu’ile Lighthouse and Fog Station.”

Presqu’ile offers a number of nature trails like the one above in the photo.
The park is certainly one of a kind. Enjoying nature together was a lovely way to celebrate 20 years of marriage. If you ever visit Ontario, you should make a stop at Presqu’ile.

Happy Anniversary! Wow, 20 years! I hope my husband and I last that long and stay as happy as you and your husband seem to be. Congratulations!
That is a beautiful park. I especially like the picture of the goose.
