Hazel, reminded me that today was a day to celebrate. Today is a day to acknowledge my hard work, and achievements as a woman. March 8th is International Women’s Day.
International Women’s Day is a time to look back on past struggles and reflect on the progress we’ve made as women.
In honor of International Women’s Day, I have chosen five inspirational quotes for you to enjoy.
“God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.”– Reinhold Niebuhr
“You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You must do the thing which you think you cannot do.”
– Eleanor Roosevelt
“Where there is no struggle, there is no strength.” –Oprah Winfrey
How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before starting to improve the world.–Anne Frank
“Not knowing when the dawn will come, I open every door.” — Emily Dickinson
We’ve come a long way ladies. Always remember that a woman’s worth is far beyond her relationship with man. Value yourself and embrace life.
Happy International Women’s Day!
I’m happy to be a woman.
