Those “viewfinders” you listed above are 3D transparency viewers under the brand name “ViewMaster”. Played with those a lot as a kid!

Any alarm clock that I can’t simply shut off is not the clock for me. I can’t imagine having to solve a puzzle or remember a sequence first thing in the morning.

The Viewfinder… hands down. Lurv it! But then again, that water clock is really pretty and I like how its powered.
