People across the world are wearing pink today to take a stand against bullying. Last year, the Province of BC declared February 25th Anti-bullying Day.
Anti-bullying Day originated after two students in Nova Scotia took a stand against bullying by getting hundreds of school mates to wear pink shirts to school. They did this after another younger student was harassed, called a “homosexual” and threatened for wearing a pink polo to school.
