Christmas Toy Drive

December 17th, 2008 by Rose DesRochers · 3 Comments

Time goes by so quickly. Only seven days left until Christmas. Thankfully I have my Christmas shopping done, as I came down with strep throat again. I admit that I feel lousy, but that hasn’t stopped me from making the season a little brighter for children in need in my community.

Monday night Shawn and I dropped off some stuffed animals and toys for the annual Professional Firefighters Association Christmas toy drive .

The annual toy drive that has operated for more than 60 years provides toys to between 1,000 and 1,200 children each year.

Make someone’s Christmas a little brighter: Donate to an area drive. It feels good to give.

Pay it forward.

If you liked this post, why not buy me a coffee?

    That’s a good deed.
Sometimes just a simple thing we do can help put a big smile on someone’s face.
