Last night my family and I attended the Mix97 Morning Crew Prime Time Special at The Empire Theatre. The holiday special included performances from Low Level Flight, Divine Brown, Katelyn Dawn, and The Raynes.

For those of you who don’t know: Divine Brown is a a Canadian R&B singer best known for her 2005 song “Old Skool Love.” Katelyn Dawn is a Canadian singer/songwriter and this years Canadian Idol winner. You might know “The Raynes” (Shade Stone and Cliff McPherson) for their song “The Promise.” Ryan Malcolm, the first winner of Canadian Idol, formed the band Low Level Flight.

My son was lucky to get photos with Katelyn Dawn, Divine Brown, and The Raynes. He also got a photo with Shaun Noronha and Brandon Merenick of Low Level Flight.
