I received another strange email last week. This time it came through my feedback form at Today’s Woman Writing Community. Norman has a question for the staff at Today’s Woman. He wants to know:
” Why are most women money hungry sluts?”
I wonder if this is a trick question. I contacted Norman for comment on why he was asking the staff of a writing community this question, but there has been no reply. I’m assuming that he thought Today’s Woman was a woman’s network.
Anyhow, Norman obviously hasn’t found the right woman. Perhaps he just needs to change his dating habits.
I’m certainly not a money hungry slut. I really don’t think most women are. I certainly didn’t marry my husband for money. I enjoy shopping. What woman doesn’t? However, I know what I can afford and what I can’t.
My daughter isn’t money hungry either, considering most of the young men that she has been in relationships with were unemployed or lazy. “Insert laugh here.”

Women by their nature are nest builders and everyone knows that if one has more money, one can feather one’s nest even better. The desire for more money does not however make them sluts—unless of course in their desire for money they are selling their bodies, in which case yes that would make them sluts.

From that question alone, it would appear he is a prejudiced ass.
I can only imagine what his opinions are of blacks, Hispanics, gays, or _______ (fill in the blank for any other group), but I really don’t want to know.

If I was a money hungry slut, I would have chased my husband down, 25 years ago, and forced the lazy bum to pay child support. He made one 30 dollar payment and then disappeared.
If I was a money hungry slut, I would not work for a nonprofit agency that serves the poor–I would look for some rich old s.o.b. and soak him for all he’s worth.
Sorry, I think Norman has been looking in the the wrong places, because the women I know who are looking for a good man don’t care how much he’s got in the bank–they are just looking for a good man to love.

First of all, I don’t love shopping. I do it mostly because I have to, unless it’s book shopping.
Second, I’m no money hungry slut. I don’t think many women are these days. They want to do it themselves.

I think Norman must be the kind of man that attracts money hungry sluts. This really says a lot more about norman than the ladies involved. Has he just lost a tragic divorce law suit ?

I don’t consider myself as money hungry sluts. Although money is important but it’s not everything. I desire spiritual fulfillment more than that.

Women in general like security, and with that money is usually involved. Although let me tell you, if women in general are money hungry sluts, then there would be a lot less kids in the world. Kids suck the money right out of a house one way or another.
It does sound like Norman is the ‘victim’ of a bad relationship. Maybe he was raised in a home where the women always need to ask for money from the men, so he grew up thinking that women can’t get money of their own. I don’t know.
