Just a quick post to wish my Canadian readers a ‘Happy Thanksgiving!” Tomorrow is the official ‘Canadian Thanksgiving Day,’ but most folks celebrated it today. I spent the early hours of Sunday morning at the emergency room with my husband, who had a high fever and the shivers.
He was diagnosed with influenza. He still got up and cooked a darn turkey. That man is stubborn. Dinner was very nice. Of course the day would not be conplete without a little brother and sister rivalry.
Even through the children arguing, and a sick husband there was a lot to be thankful for.

It’s time to reflect and be Thankful for what we have. Whether your Canadian or not, I ask you dear reader what are you thankful for today?
If you liked this post, why not buy me a coffee?

Happy Thanksgiving, Rose. I’m thankful for my family. (Why does that always sound like a cliche?)

Whew, your husband is strong… that must be a nasty bout of flu. I hope you’re all feeling a lot better and happier.
What am I thankful about? Hmm. There’s a lot I’m thankful for but I’m afraid to mention them… in case of the gremlins.
And I thought I wasn’t superstitious. It’s just that if you say “I’m glad that…” then you lose whatever you were glad about, you wonder if it’s because you said it out loud. Maybe that’s just a Scottish point of view.

I am thankful that no one was hurt when a tree fell through the roof of my son’s home.
I am thankful to have people in my life that I love and that love me.
I am thankful to have a job when so many in Maine are out of work due to businesses closing.

Happy Thanksgiving!
I am thankful for opportunity, each one (and a zillion other things).
Here’s to husband’s who just keep on when they should be letting someone else do it. Hope he feels better soon.

Happy Thanksgiving! I’m thankful for my family and for the fact that my parents are finally able to travel to the places they’ve always wanted to. I can only hope that my husband and daughters have the same luck, especially in this economy.
Hope your hubby starts feeling better soon. The flu stinks, especially when it’s really bad.

Happy Thanksgiving!
I’m thankful for my family, who will be celebrating Thanksgiving in Seattle this year–they were living in Oklahoma City last year, and they moved back over the summer.
I hope your husband is feeling better.
