My 2 week old Shih-Tzu

October 9th, 2008 by Rose DesRochers · 8 Comments

The Breeder sent me some pictures of my future puppy shih tzu. I went out, just over a week ago and picked her out. I’m so excited about getting her. I only have four weeks left. Who’s counting?

My puppy’s eyes should be opening soon. She’ll be 14 days old on Sunday. The eyes open between 10 and 14 days. Right now she’s about the size of my hand. Doesn’t she look like a little cow?

If you liked this post, why not buy me a coffee?

How sweet! I love the black and white color. We bought a Shih_Tzu last year and we named her Kai-Ying…which means “Bright One.” She is one year old now and she is particularly attached to me. She does well with the kids as well, however, her and my husband have a personality conflict. She seems to be afraid of him, or perhaps his size. She tends to pee every time he gets near her which has driven us crazy. My husband has wanted to get rid of her because of that (I think he is taking this whole thing very personally) but I don’t him NO. The dog stays because the rest of us are attached to her now.

Thanks for your visit to my blog! It’s always such a pleasure seeing you there.

Awww cute…..not as cute as my 2 Cavalier King Charles (Dobby & Daisy) :)

I do have a terrible joke for you related to Shih-Tzu’s

“I went to a zoo the other day, but they only had 1 dog there, it was a Shih-Tzu”

You have to say it out loud…..lame but makes me chuckle
