We Interrupt our regular blog schedule to bring you this announcement. Tonight my toe was in the wrong place at the wrong time. There I was minding my own business when our tranquility fountain jumped out at me. Actually I walked into it and stubbed my toe.
Thankfully, I don’t think my toe is broken, but I know the tranquility fountain is. Instead of sitting here listening to my tranquility fountain’s trickling water, I’m sitting here thinking that my toe really hurts.
My friend, who is a nurse was over for a visit when it happen. She told me to put some ice on it, but I didn’t listen. So now I’m off to bathe my toe in some cool water. Ouch!
Before I go, I need to ask you a question.
Have you ever broken your toe by stubbing it on something?

This was what my “Tranquility Fountain” looked like. Now is has a nice big chunk taken out of the side.
Ouch my toe!
If you liked this post, why not buy me a coffee?

Ouch, be careful! I know that feeling all too well. Take care of that toe, ice and elevation right?

That’s a strong toe, Rose, to take a chunk out of that fountain!! I can only imagine how much it hurts.
I’ve never broken a toe but I popped a chunk of toenail off when my foot flew off my the pedal of my mountain bike into the tire while trying to keep up with my husband on his bike (I should’ve known better than to compete with someone who cycles almost every day…LOL).
Hope your toe has a speedy recovery!!!

Wow … not very tranquil now is it? lol
I’ve broken lots of toes, well mainly the same ones over & over again. I’ve broken both my baby toes by stubbing them, pretty sure I’ve broken the right one at least twice and the left once. I’ve broken my big toe on my right foot twice … first when I dropped a cook book, of all things, on it (I don’t cook) and second time the phone fell on it.
The stubbing was me walking into a door and the leg of a chair … can’t remember the other one. LOL I’m CLUMSY!

I’ve never broken my toe, but it’s been awfully bruised, a few times, by running into a chair my mom and I had in our living room.
I hope you feel better. Ouch!

I feel for you, toes really hurt.
To answer your question, yes. The baby toe on my left foot. My socked foot slipped out from under me and stopped at the table leg. Half of my foot was black and blue, and my toe was swollen to twice it’s normal size.

Yeah, I have busted a toe by stubbing it. But that is the price I pay for wearing shoes as seldom as possible.

You must have been obnoxiously loud, to have provoked a serenity fountain into attach mode??. Least you aren’t having to submit to the series of painful rabies shots. I hope this will teach ya not to taunt and provoke sereenity fountains in the future.

I’ve discovered that I am most likely to stub my toe when something near the surface I run into is misplaced. e.g., my daughter’s scooter’s in the path, and I avoid it, only to run into the base of the fireplace. So, I have felt your pain. Many times. Many times.
