“I never promised you a rose garden. Along with the sunshine, There’s gotta be a little rain sometimes.” I have experienced one of those days days when a song gets stuck in your head. Every since our tour of the rose garden yesterday I have been singing ” I never promised you a rose garden. Along with the sunshine, There’s gotta be a little rain sometimes.” Please make it stop.
I’d like to invite you to my recent trip to the “Rose Garden”. We all need a little break from our stressful days and believe me my days are stressful.
Rose Garden in Bloom

There are numerous benches where you can sit and enjoy your lunch or a good book.
The roses all looked lovely.
I must give credit where credit is due. This last photo was taken by my son Digital Frenzy who does not share enough of his photos on his blog. Maybe you could all drop by his blog and comment on one of his older post and encourage him to share more.

My advice for you today is to take time to stop and smell the roses. Go for a walk in the park today or just get outside and enjoy life. All too often, we get wrapped up in daily activities, that we forget to stop, and smell the roses. Don’t let life pass you by. Roses were put in your life for a reason. Please, don’t let the moment pass you by.
If you liked this post, why not buy me a coffee?

Great advice, Rose.
The photo’s you included brought to mind another suggestion. Take along a camera when you can. Taking photo’s can often make you look at things with a different perspective. You can see the uniqueness and beauty in many things which you might ordinarily pass by. And taking the photo’s may release some of the creativity within you.
Having the photo’s can help you relive the experience later and remind you that it is time to go smell the roses again.

“Sometimes…there’s just so much beauty in the world that it makes me cry…”
Good advice, something I need to heed for sure. My life is a constant GO! GO! GO! to reach goals and accomplish everything I want to do in life.
I was also considering taking more photos whereever I go….the constant tourist as it were…funny you should say that BakerWatson

I often use photos to release the creativity that might be lost in the madness that makes up my mind. Either photos I take or ones poached from others. They cause me to focus my efforts.
It’s odd the legacies we pick up from our parents. I grew up watching my father take pictures of everything. Bugs, plants, people, buildings. I never thought much of it until I developed the same interest in capturing the images that are all around us.
I have secreted away thousands of photos and slides he took over the years. At some point, I hope to share them. But digitizing them is expensive and takes more time than I have at the moment.
