Digging into the archives-Old Blog Posts

Well I did some blog house cleaning. I deleted a few posts, edited a few old blog posts and cleaned up my categories. Are you looking for something specific on my blog? Why not search my sitemap?

Who reads old blog posts? Sometimes when I come across a blog that interests me, I tend to look at some of their old blog posts. I have been know to leave comments on old posts that I find of interest.

I thought it would be fun to dig into the archives and see what happened here last year in July.

On this day in 2007, I blogged about World Sex Laws - Strange Sex Laws and BuyBlogComments.com A new comment spam service.

Lindsay Ashford: Pedophile Web Site Outrages Parents.” ( I do believe his sites are now down.)

A San Francisco power outage affected some websites.

I shared some tips on “How to get Repeat Visitors to your Blog.”

I was removed from the BlogCatalog community.

My daughter went to see a dermatologist. Thankfully she did not have melanoma.

I interviewed Lorelle Vanfossen.

A village idiot did not like my glamor shot.

I blogged about Doctors Negligence and why my youngest daughter is in heaven.

I shared with you the Hugs and Hope Foundation for Sick Children.

I told you how to Remove your phone number from Yahoo Search.

I encourage you to spend some time going through my sitemap and hopefully you’ll comment on an old post or two.

It was nice to dig into my archives and read what happened over the last year or two. Today take some time to review your old articles, and see if there is anything you should update us on.

I hope to be reading your opinion on some of my old posts.

Well I’m off to our annual sidewalk sale. ( No they are not selling sidewalks.) There is shopping to be done.

If you liked this post, why not buy me a coffee?

I have a baby of a site. (s)he is only 8 months old (I havent decided if it is a boy or a girl site yet), but I love going back and reading my old posts. Probably because I am a little strange and self indulgent, but hey, I enjoy it! I sat down and started a clean up a few weeks back. It lasted…ohh…well, I put in the admin password to get in to the site. And then I got bored. I really wanted to do it, but it was never going to happen this side of oblivion.

I didn’t get this from reviewing your archives, but from your sidebar. I found it interesting that, of all your hundreds of posts, the one that garnered the 4th most comments of all times features a photo of 2 rolls of toilet paper and laments the rising costs of this necessity. Actually it was tied in the comment competition with ‘Sex Sells’. I think I will go make a comment to break the tie. (Plus I may have to re-think some of my own blog posts and perhaps widen my scope.)

And I’m sorry they weren’t actually selling sidewalks. I was going to ask you to pick up one for me if you happened across a good buy. I’m looking for one about 300 feet long and at least 4 feet wide. I would prefer something with a cobblestone or old brick look just in case you happen to see one on your shopping excursions.

Baker, that is perhaps because it was a part of Photo Hunt. Sorry, but I can’t get you a Brick Sidewalk.

LOL, Rose. I figured that was the case. Nevertheless I moved it up a notch to sole possession of 3rd place with a comment.

‘Tis OK about the sidewalk. I’ve been waiting 11 years for one but they are so expensive and used ones don’t come up for sale often. I’ll just keep looking and waiting.
