Who knew wearing a thong could damage your eye. I guess women need to start wearing protective goggles when putting on their thong.
I’m sure you’ve already heard the story of the Victoria’s Secret thong malfunction.
In case you haven’t: A 52-year-old California woman has filed a lawsuit claiming a “low-rise v-string” Victoria Secret’s thong scratched her cornea.
Apparently she was putting on the thong when a decorative metallic piece flew off and struck her in the eye. My guess was that the thong was too small. Some women hate admitting that the they are no longer the size five they were 20 years ago. You know, maybe she should stick to granny panties or underwear without rhinestones or shop at Thick Madam Lingerie(They have some nice lingerie and she might just avoid in future eye injuries.)
The Smoking Gun has a copy of the original paperwork filed with the L.A. Superior Court. You can check out the breaking news video “Injured by a thong” at CNN.
Reminds me of the time my under wire came loose in my bra. Not only did I look lopsided, but the thing was jabbing me in the chest.
If you liked this post, why not buy me a coffee?

Unfortunately we live in a society where people won’t take responsibility for their own actions, it is always someone else’s fault. The U.S. is sue happy, I blame the Mcdonalds coffee lawsuit for that.
If it is a case of the thong being too small for her I hope the jury rules against her. Too often they don’t because the ordinary person hates corporations. What they don’t take into consideration is these lawsuits have to be paid for some how and that usually means raising prices.

I recall the lawssuit some women laid on Disneyland for the trauma her kids got seeing the employes take off the heads of their mickey mouse and goofy costumes—-such a trauma to the kids——yeahhh rightttt.

Geez. The price of looking sexy. Potential blindness in one eye in this instance!
I once slipped on a tile on the floor after I had dropped some soap on there and not tidied it up. I did consider suing the manufacturer of the tile, but then instead I filed a lawsuit with the manufacturer of my skin. Mother Nature stiffed me and never turned up in court. I was not happy. Since then I stopped suing people.

I heard a similar story but the thong had a jewel that cut into her thigh and she was suing
.
I hope the judge does not rule in her favor because I can see women suing shoe companies because they’re wearing too small stilettos which can cause nerve damage or blisters!
This “thong injury” goes right there with people blaming McDonald’s for their obesity. Puhleeze!
