Just thought I'd update you on the dofollow movement. It's dead. So is nofollow. Google barely used it (they still indexed those sites and they turned up in search results) and other search engines failed to embrace it. If there is no nofollow, dofollow is just as much history.

It was a great idea but when Google failed to comply fully with its intentions, the rest was just buzz and conjecture, though bloggers still love to promote the dofollow claim.

In a way, I wish it did count so we could put really put a hurt on comment spams and sploggers, but we just have to find anothe way to turn up the heat on them. Got any ideas? :D

I have to say I checked out the links given in the post and actually now understand the pros and c ons of the debate. I am of the opinion, leave it alone , let it stand as google put in in. LOL, flashing on a Fred and Ginger song---"I say no-follow, you say Do-follow, no follow, do follow, lets call the whole thing off---" (man I shouldn't drink and blog, but its fun)
