You were in your 40s whether you were ready or not. I think age is just a state of mind, and it can change on a daily basis. I'm looking forward to being 30 (by then my girls will be 9 and much less dependent on me for everything), and dreading it at the same time (my girls will no longer be the cute little 4 year old 'babies' they are now). Hopefully I'll have more patience with them by the time I'm 30! I'm glad it was a good day for you, Rose.
