Did you know that the teddy bear was named after Theodore Roosevelt? I’m not sure if I have ever mentioned this on my blog before, but I love teddy bears. I do not have just one or two bears. I have a small teddy bear collection.
This bear sits in my kitchen on our microwave stand.
I think I’m running out of room. Time to get a knew bookcase.

I was going to say I need a hobby, but I have one. Teddy bears have actually become one of today’s hottest collectibles. Some people collect coins, others collect dolls or baseball cards. I collect teddy bears.
By the way did you know that teddy bear collectors are known as arctophiles.

I collect coins as you know lol. I think counting the teddy bears that are in your room you have like 30 teddy bears. lol

I collect books!
But when I went to grad school out of state, at the ripe old age of 46, my friend Mary bought me a teddy bear. That teddy bear helped me through a lot of lonely days and nights! I gave the teddy bear away, a few years ago, to my granddaughter. I have been granted liberal visiting privileges.

That is a LOT of bears Rose! It is like you are building some kind of army and you are planning on taking over Canada or something. It makes my collection of intelligent brain cells look measly in comparison. I guess 8 isnt a big number.
