I woke up feeling terrible this morning. It hurts to swallow or even talk. My first guess was that maybe I had strep throat. I went in to see the doctor around 3.00. The doctor took one look at my throat and said it was most likely strep.
She listened to my breathing, looked in my ears, nose and mouth and took a throat swab. She then started me on antibiotics. I slept most of the day, but I still can hardly keep my eyes open. I hope I feel better by the weekend. The only thing worse than being sick is being sick on Easter. Once I’m feeling better I’ll stop by everyone’s blog.

Eeeesh. Whisky is good for any illness. I find it helps my mental illness anyway.

Ugh. Strep is awful. I used to get it all the time as a kid. Nothing like being in pain every single time you swallow. At least you’re on antibiotics, so if it is strep, those should kick in by tomorrow. Hope you feel better!

Thank you everyone. I should really be in bed, but I have been in bed all day and I was having trouble sleeping. I need to get better as I have to work this weekend.
Andrew the antibiotics are starting to work, but I still feel icky and I can’t sit for too long.

This is an old time cure to help you out, my grandmother did this for me growing up. Whenever I start with a sore throat, this is what you do get some warm water and put in a couple of spoons of table salt, stir it up and gargle with it. Do this as often as you can stand it and it will fix you up

Hope you feel better…I have been dealing with a sick baby for the past two days. 104 temp and explosions from both ends. I intend to blog about it when I get my thoughts together and the time to do it.
