Have you joined an online blogging forum? You may not know it yet, but blogging forums can be a valuable resource. If you are not participating in a blog forum then you are missing out on just what they can do for you and your blog.
When you join a blogging forum not only can you learn from others bloggers, but you can help other bloggers by sharing what you know. Blogging forums are all about networking.
As you add value to the forum with helpful posts, people will want to know more about you and will visit your blog. If you actively participate on a blogging forum with a link in your signature, it is a given that members will click-through to visit your blog.
Participation in a blogging forum is an ongoing process though. You can’t just join a forum and start posting your links. You need to provide help and feedback to others, focus more on networking with other members than driving traffic, ask for feedback from other members whenever possible, and use an avatar so members recognize you.
One of the key benefits of blogging forums is it is based purely on interaction, meaning that even a new blogger can get positive results from forums. You don’t have to be an A list blogger to be recognized. Those who participate on blogging forums are bloggers just like you.
I’ve participated in a number of blogging forums and I speak from experience when I say that when you help someone out on a blogging forum that most times, they will remember you for it and will visit your blog. Soon you become an expert in your field and other bloggers turn to you for advice.
Forums are a great way to gain exposure to your blog, drive traffic and network with other bloggers. Its fun, it’s rewarding and it works. Start blogger forums work for you.

I read one forum to see what you say to someone with 1 post, rubbish pictures and loads of ads. As those replies make me laugh! We have the same sarcasm in us!
Although I have had 90% of my traffic come from forums compared to anywhere else. And when I say 90%, I mean I haven’t actually worked it out, but that is where most people come from when I look at the stats! It is the whole 80% of all statistics are made up thing isn’t it!
