Did Google’s Blogger get the message?

January 9th, 2008 by Rose DesRochers · 4 Comments

There was a lot of debate in  the Blogosphere last month over the removal of the url field from  comments on Google Blogspot blogs. Several bloggers sent in emails to Blogger requesting that it be added back. Well it looks like Blogger got the message and the url field has now been added back to comments.

If you liked this post, why not buy me a coffee?

I’ll bet that was their plan all along….

However, it’s not intuitively obvious. I just happened to be logged in to Google the other day, made a comment and then, after I had hit submit realized that the link on my name was an old one, not what I normally use now.

I havent had heard about that.. But that’s good that they brought it back.. It would be helpful for new bloggers like me to be promoted and get featured in sites like yours which have a good google page rank.

    How did you do it?

Could you give me some advice on increasing my page rank? It would be a big help for I am looking for ways to earn in the internet.

    Please do help.

Its good to see Google’s – (Blogger administration) is listening to the 1,000’s of bloggers that use their platform for their web blog.

A community isn’t a community if the developers don’t progress and listen to their peers to steer in the right direction, that being in the best interest and the majority of bloggers who wanted the URL address field returned..

By returning the URL Field Google saves face.
