Sorry for the delay. Merry Christmas everyone! I apologize for my absence the last few days. I provide respite care to a little girl and I had her in my care over the last couple of weeks. On the day she left I came down ill with a viral infection that as you know my son was so nice to share with me.
Thank you to everyone who was sweet enough to wish me “get well wishes.”
Thanks to my husband and children who put on a lovely Christmas dinner yesterday. I spent the largest majority of yesterday drinking warm tea and coughing my head off.
I only pray I am better by the 1st when the little girl returns to my care while her Mommy is out of the Country.
I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas and I wish you all the best in 2008.

Thank you to all those who stopped by to wish me a Merry Christmas.
I have not been ignoring you. There just has been no motivation on my part. I’m patiently waiting for this cold to pack up and leave my aching body.
As soon as it does I will drop by all of your blogs to catch up.
If you liked this post, why not buy me a coffee?

Hi Rose, it’s my job also to provide respite care, I never realised you and I had that in common..It’s not something I write about much on my blog, but I think I did make a post about carers long after I started writing.
I hope you feel better soon. Merry Christmas, Happy New Year to you too

You were missed, of course. I, for one, am glad to see you back posting and hope you are tons better soon.
Since we were going to be visiting our grandchildren, we started taking Zycam the last day of our travel to Wisconsin. We’re back home now and, even though our daughter and grandkids had colds, we didn’t get sick. Maybe we were just lucky.

I didn’t realize that Mark? Thank you and Seasons Greetings to you as well.
Nice to know I was missed Mike. I hope you & your family had a good Christmas. I can’t take anything for my cold.

just a quick stop by to wish you and your family the best during the holiday season and in the new year — take care of your cold and hope you’re feeling well soon.
