Back in April I blogged about the Hello Kitty shoulder massager that was manufactured in 1997 by Genyo Co. After two years the product was discontinued, but not before it started showing up in adult stores and adult vending machines marketed as a “Hello Kitty Vibrator.” Up until recently the Hello Kitty vibrator could only be purchased on Ebay, but now Sanrio has reintroduced the “Hello Kitty massager” through a new licensee and once again it is being sold as a sex item.
That’s right! The Hello Kitty massager is back and on sale in Japan as a shoulder massager, but on sale in the UK as a vibrator through a UK sex toys retailer.

The shoulder massager now comes in pink, black, red and lavender. Using this shoulder massager as a vibrator is just wrong on so many levels. Talk about sad!

Another interesting tidbit, Rose.
My shoulder IS hurting this morning, but my…. “shoulder massager” is back at the house – 600 miles away.
I wonder what search terms on Google will send people to this post.
Thanks for that little award you gave me. I published it on my “about” page.
My shoulder is really hurting after the long drive yesterday and sleeping for too long the wrong position in a not quite comfortable motel bed.
Fortunately, I did remember my TENS unit, so if the pain continues, I can do something about it.
