Public works was closed today for Veteran’s Day. They had a sign up that said Leaf/ Yard Waste Closed and another signed that said not to drop yard waste off.
Well that did not stop residents from ignoring both signs and dropping off their leaf waste all day long.

Now that is what I call ignorant. I guess they couldn’t come back tomorrow? City workers are now working to remove all the yard waste from where it was dumped. Thanks to my son Digital Frenzy who took the photos earlier this evening.
If you liked this post, why not buy me a coffee?

It’s not ignorant. The folks had the day off and weren’t going to be dissuaded – it was SELFISH, becaus, undoubtedly, someone else is going to have to deal with their mess.

I thought it was both ignorant and selfish.

It was ignorant & selfish. The people came and dropped off and then the public works guys had to clean it all up. What a mess.

I can not believe that people would do that. Just because they wanted to drop of their yard waste at the dump and it was closed does not mean they go and dump it out side of the waste site. Talk about selfish snobs!!!!!!!!
