The other day my daughter and I were in a card store when we saw the cutest product. Move over Webkinz, Shining Stars have entered the virtual world. “Star light, star bright.” Next time you wish upon a star, let it be your very own shining star. Russ Berrie and Company, Inc has partnered with AGE Inc and the International Star Registry and now when you purchase a plush shining star friend you can have your very own star.
Simply log on to the shingstars.com website and name your very own star. Your name will officially be recorded with the International Star Registry. The website also features games and activities for children. Of course safety is always a concern and parental supervision is strongly recommended.
Shining Stars are available in stores nationwide and you can also purchase a Shining Star from Amazon.
The collection includes 24 adorable collectible plush characters including White Cat, Monkey
, Honey Bear
, Tiger
, Pig
, among others.

Russ Berrie Shining Stars Yellow Lab happens to be my favorite. When you purchase a shining star for someone you care about not only will they have a special keepsake, but they will have their own personally named star to wish upon.
