How to Track your blog comments

October 6th, 2007 by Rose DesRochers · 7 Comments

Keeping track of all the places you left blog comments can be a real pain. I don’t know about you, but my memory is not that great. For people like myself who leave several comments a day, managing them all can be a real challenge. Now comes three tools that track conversations in the comments sections of blogs making your life a little easier.

  • coComment is a comment tracking site that works with Blogger and several other systems. coComment keeps track of all the online conversations you’re following in one convenient place, and informs you whenever something is added.
  • co.mments – Co.mments a competitor to CoComment allows you to track comments you left. When you read a post you want to follow, simply click on the co.mments favorite/bookmark. The co.mments server will then follow up and find new comments for you.
  • Commentful, like coComment and co.mments, is a tool that allows its users to keep track of discussion on blogs and other various sites.

Now you can bring together all those scattered blog comments.

Do you use any of these services now and if you do which one?

If you liked this post, why not buy me a coffee?

Hi Rose, I have tried both co.comment and co.mments, and I have done a post a while ago comparing them. I prefer to use co.mments, because it is so very easy to use. I am not a very disciplined user, though. I keep forgetting to use it from time to time :)

Thanks again for providing a light at the end of this particular tunnel. I was developing comment-tracking Alzheimer’s!

I’m testing CoComments right now, but will check out the other two for the easiest solution!

    Great idea, Rose!
Still searching for a easy way to let everyone know when I reply to their comments.

Sounds like this service only works when you want to track selective posts?

Do you know if there is a service available to Bloggers to alert readers when the comments have been answered or replied to?
