Todays-Woman Writing Community Turns Five

Five years ago today Today’s Woman Writing Community was launched. It is hard to believe it has been five years.

Over the course of five years the community has gone through so many changes. Two years in a row we have received recognition as one of Writers Digest best 101 websites for writers.

Over these last five years, the community has been such a massive part of my life. Today’s Woman is more than just a writing community though. Some of the members are like family to me.

The last five years have not been easy. Some times I have wanted to give up yet I have stuck with it through thick and thin.

I could not have done it without the support of my husband Shawn, my good friends Steve Reichard, Jack Jones, my children and the loyal members of Today’s Woman Writing Community.

I look forward to celebrating many more birthdays.

Well you and Shawn have done a lot of work to keep TW up and running and better than ever, so it’s all of us who should thank you as we celebrate Tw’s 5th birthday.:)

Wow 5 years, that’s really impressive!

It can be so hard to keep a blog going, most die within the first few months due to writers block and lack of visitors (making the blogger lose the wil to carry on).

You have done incredibly well. Congratulations!

Congratulations Mommy, I can’t believe how far you and this community has come. I see an improvement in your writing every day and I am proud of you. You are my mother and my role model. I look up to you and I know you will always be there as my mother, teacher and as a friend. Because of you I know I can always do better and I can’t wait until I can join your community. Keep up the great work and don’t give up, because you will always have your great friends and your loving family to fall back on.
