There is a site called marryourdaughter, which claims to be a site where parents can auction off their daughters for marriage. I’m not even going to link to the site, because it is just sick. Can you believe someone would actually try to marry off their 13 year old daughter for money?
Come to think about it this website must be some joke. Snopes and the Museum of Hoax’ both feel the site is a hoax. The keywords used in the Meta tags make you wonder who they are marketing to.
The domain was registered July 7th with GoDaddy.com and the whois information is hidden from view.
Some are claiming that, MarryOurDaughter is a phishing scam website, while others just think it is someone’s idea of a sick joke.
I don’t care what the site is. It is not funny and sick is right.

Malin if you think this is sick, you should see pimpmydaughter. The owner of that blog has informed me that I’m too ignorant to actually judge the blog on its merits. Funny it is more the content and blog owner I find pathetic, then it is the title of the blog. Though we all know what pimp means.

I was curious about this website marryourdaughter. I submitted a false proposal so I can find out if this is really a serious website or not. I will let you know if they respond.
Let’s see if they take the bait. They said it could be up to 8 weeks before I get a response. We’ll see.

Hmmm, you know I felt pimp my daughter was a hoax from the outset. Phishing makes good sense motive wise. I’m thinking maybe that might be a brilliant way to go. Phish for pedophiles by putting up a disgusting site and then steal from them blind! Oh that’s just too rich!
