MoboPic is a cool service  allows you to create mobile cell phone wallpapers in three easy steps.

  1. Upload your photo or insert the URL of an image on the web that you would like to use.
  2. Crop it to the correct size.
  3. Save your wallpaper.

Mobopic

What makes mobopic  so mobile friendly is that it supports screen-sizes for all major phone models. They have presets for Nokia, Samsung, Sony Ericsson, T-Mobile,  Motorola  and many other mobile phones.

You can also use mobopic to create avatars for forums or use it to create MySpace icons or [tag]MSN[tag] display pictures.

What a useful new service.

    I don’t get it.

    If I want a picture as a wallpaper, I just email it to my phone, select it as wallpaper, and Bob’s yer uncle.

    Why involve a third party service at all?

    I think this is great, especially for those phones without e-mail, bluetooth, or a USB cable attachment. My sister is sure to love it. Thanks for the find. I will forward it onto her :)
