Hackers are attacking Google’s Blogger with the Storm Trojan virus. The virus is showing up on blogs that use the mail2blogger feature, that allows bloggers to post via email. The hoax blog entries claim to point to a YouTube video, but actually direct visitors to a webpage containing a malicious script and the Storm Worm Trojan virus.
BBC news reports that “Infected computers are being hijacked by the gang behind the attacks and either mined for saleable data or used for other attacks.”

A Google search for the terms “dude what if you wife finds this” and “HAHAHAHAHAHA, man your insane!” turns up numerous blog entries including the fake YouTube link.

Should you come across one of these entries, do not click on the link.
Warning: E-mails are also being sent to inboxes as well with fake links to YouTube videos.

I’ve seen several of these in my spam box - glad to know the intent.

I’ve had that email. I didn’t click on the link. It looked like spam, so I deleted it. I didn’t know it was actually a virus, though.

Thanx for the Tip !
I am doing an Indepth research on this, and did not realize the BBC was making an announcement. One thing I can tell you, this worm is well hidden, and not removed by many scanners …
Again, thanx for the tip !
