What features does it have? I would like the ability to set the minimum bid and increments.
If somebody bids $1 for a permanent link, it’s permanent. That’s a little scary.
Is there a time limit? Like an auction.
It would be cool if you had a feature where you can set the amount of links you want to sell and how much you are willing to sell them for.
If you get this site popular, it can be an Ebay for link buying. If you were able to automate the system like Ebay, everything could be automated and you could take a commission. I don’t think people would mind losing 5% if you were brokering the deals.
Also, is there an iTrader rating system? That would be cool. People with higher iTrader ratings are more trusted.
Anyway, I think the site has potential, but, before totally promoting it you should consider some of the above ideas.
Right now, link trading goes on at webmaster forums like digitalpoint and sitepoint.
I think you could have a head up on them with the right programming behind your system…..
Don’t forget about a Private Messaging system.
I hope I haven’t stepped over my bounds in saying all of this. I am really excited about the potential and think it will REALLY do great.

Carl, I think you are confused. Text links start at one dollar. You buy a permanent link in the directory for a dollar and then you can increase your bid by bidding higher to increase your placement in the directory. You are not selling links nor are you trading links. You are purchasing a one way link in a directory. If you link bid is one of the top ten highest you have an additional bonus link on the home page.
