I'd hate that to happen to me. If people attack you on your own blog, you can block their i.p address to prevent them coming on again. You can do it from your server/hosting control pannel :) Other than that, try not to worry too much, when people come to this blog, they will be able to tell your not the same persons traigh away. :) That’s awful. All just to get traffic? I guess the more successful, well known, or respected a person you attack, the better the results. So.... In a strange sort of way, I guess you could be flattered that these sad people take the time to attack you!
