Geesee has provided away for bloggers to get in touch with their readers. Geesee allows you to embed a chatroom for visitors to your blog.

Once you have added the chat to your blog, visitors can either sign up for their own Geesee account, which will allow them to customize their profile or simply chat with you and other visitors using a default guest name given when they sign in.

There are instructions on the Geesee website for adding Geesee to Wordpress, TypePad, PhpBB, or MySpace blogs. If you don’t see your blogging platform listed, you can email them and they might just add it.
Geesee also offers your visitors the ability to browse all the chatrooms using the service and find related rooms by tag. You could hop, from a chat about blogging on PromoInnovations.com to a related chat about blogging on another blog.
To see Geesee chat live in action visit PromoInnovations. Thanks to Carl for the tip.

The chat feature is great. It’s best usage is for 1 on 1 conversations. If you need to talk to someone you can say “Hey, let’s talk about it in the chat room”.
It is also good if you want to have a 3 or 4 way conversation about something.
“Rose thanks for the shout out to my site”….
