Today I received an email through my contact form from John Griffin. John wanted to know how I inserted the code to allow people to buy me a cup of coffee. If I tell you, you’ll have to buy me a cup of coffee.
I’m using the buy me a beer/coffee plugin for Wordpress by Sherief Mursyidi. The plugin adds a “Buy Me a Beer/ Coffee” button to the sidebar and to each of your posts.
Profitsense Blogger has a tutorial that teaches you how to create the Blogspot version of Buy Me a Beer/ Coffee plugin.

I absolutely love it. So funny and thanks for granting my request. That was almost as impressive as your blog which is awesome. Cutcaster is going to buy you a coffee and put a little extra for some Baileys so you can have an “Irish coffee.” hahah

When I put one I my site, I had a starbucks cup. It was kinda neat. Unfortunately a borderline “flamer” (not the gay meaning, but the pissed of,using nasty semantics kind) commented that he used to like my site until I put that up and that he wouldn’t be coming back. That’s why I took mine down. A lot of people seem to have them though. I wonder if they make any money?

Good Point Rose. I guess I am always thinking of the silent visitors, what they might think.
Since I am not a MMOL type blog anyway, I figured why even have it. Ultimately it just wasn’t something I felt comfortable with. It is an awesome plugin though and easy to put up. I like it when people tweak it like you have and say “Buy me tuition . . . flowers . . . new clothes . . . etc” and the guy who made it is a very cool dude indeed!
