Thank you goes out to Oscar from Blog Catalog for tipping me off via email that he had received an email from my biggest fan Katie Fairchild.
Oscar had gathered from the email that Katie has a general dislike for me. Isn’t that the truth.
It baffles me that Katie Fairchild would go to such petty extremes to email Oscar. For those of you who are new here, I have been dealing with Katie Fairchild’s ongoing harassment for quite some time now.
She has some petty vendetta against me.
Katie (yngathrrt) is the author of a blog about trolls, flame wars and cyber stalkers where she continuously blogs about me in a defamatory manner.
I know I said that I would not blog about Katie Fairchild anymore, but she appears to have some fascination with me that I just can not understand.
What do you think motivates Katie to continue her harassment when I have requested that she just get on with her life and leave me alone?

I know you have gone through a lot from this witch. I don’t know why she continues to have this vendetta against you. She has done nothing but harass you. One can only ignore her lies. I would suggest that no one reply to her.

If people are replying to her, I can only suggest they distance themselves from her now.
As you know this is a personal vendetta with her that dates back a year and a half.
In my opinion, Katie is a very vicious woman who hides behind screen names and Anonymity of the net.

Hi Rose, My friend. I see the bored, jealous, mean hearted are after you again. Small minded people usually have nothing better to do than harass others they are jealous of. This is the first I have heard of this, so I had to read back to catch up.
You know I have been a member of TW for two years now and you have been nothing but kind and fair with me. Not to forget the flowers and card you sent when my mother was ill. I will never forget that, and I bet other web owner can not come close to how kind you have been to me and other members. I guess that is why your writing community remains the best.
I was just wondering if maybe this previous member had a friendship with the other ‘couple’ before becoming a member of TW. It seems odd that the harassment stopped on one end just in time for it to start at another. Just a little food for thought. So sorry you are having to go through this again, but then, jealousy is the best compliment anyone can give. Keep smiling my friend.

I’m sorry to hear you’re experiencing this. It does seem that people who take a firm stand on issues will have to contend with others who want to cut the legs from right under them. My best guess is envy.

I could never imagine flamming someone on my blog, but people see it for what it’s worth, and it reflects badly on the blogger taking the cheap shots, very unclassy, have a coffe on me and think nice thoughts.:smile:

Becky, you have been away from Today’s Woman for some time and I don’t talk about Katie on there though a few of the regulars have seen things for their own eyes and no what I have been put through. If you Google my name, you will see for yourself as her blog yngathrrt comes up on the first page. Katie has even made a few remarks about Steve too and other TW members who have came to my defense. Katie did befriend the other couple though I’m not sure if she knew them before joining TW. Thanks for your friendship Becky.

Probably boredom too… i think people will do almost anything to not have to take the time to stop and truely look at themselves, because it’s frightening. Sorry that this is still continuing and I hope it lets up soon!

Jack one of Katie’s followers state that I stalked Jeff’s wife Devrie and actually called her employer. Wow, is that false! I emailed the air force base where Devrie was stationed because Jeff was using those computers to harass me at that time. Jeff, Devrie and I have settled our differences yet Katie and her friends still need to bring it up. Sad, actually pathetic really!

Rose didn’t stalk me, nor did she call my employer. Things were being said that shouldn’t have been said: there was a pretty ugly war, and Jeff was somewhat unrelenting.
Rose did contact people at NAS Keflavik, where I was stationed, and I had to talk with my chief and sign a report acknowledging that I was made aware that there should be a stop to potentially bad situations that could reflect poorly on the Navy.
The report was filed, mostly due to some conversation on a forum, where Jeff made the comment of something a long the lines of kicking someone’s rear end or beating someone up (Shawn). It was a horrible thing for Jeff to have said.
At that time, too, I had a blog called Moople or something. I was, from my perspective, defending my position in our argument; however, in retrospect, I see that there were some things I did not realize at the time (I did not realize some comments that had taken place between Rose and Jeff, and between Jeff and other entities). In essence, I was incorrect on some accounts, and had somewhat of a skewed perspective.
I’ve learned never to speak out of anger; to bite my tongue, no matter how “right” I think I am, because…I could be dead wrong.
So… I cannot say that Rose ever stalked me. In many ways, there were provocations that lead to defensive responses, and other actions of defense.
Considering some of the many problems we are facing in this world, it’s vital we learn to respect each other, and to understand the importance of human unity. I laud Rose for being able to look past our former differences and to extend an olive branch.

Devrie, I appreciate your coming here and commenting. I think that you made some good points that need to be heard. There are so many more important issues to solve and all this negative energy that Katie is putting towards me is not worth any thing.
