Thyroid Blood Tests

What’s going on with my thyroid?

I had blood drawn last Thursday.  I have been on one of my medications for a while and the doctor just wanted to check out a few things.

She included a thyroid blood test and today the clinic called to tell me the doctor wants to see me at the clinic tomorrow morning to discuss my thyroid. I’ll fill you all in tomorrow as soon as I see her and I know more about the test results.

    It’s always rather stressful to be called in to speak about test results. You can’t keep your mind from wondering about what in the world they want to tell you that could nto be said over the phone. I wish you the best on this.

    Hi Rose,

    I hope your thyroid is okay. It can really make you feel all kinds of weird when it’s not. Mine is going crazy right now and I’ve had to increase my thyroid medication by 50% and be tested again in 3 months. I hope you don’t have to do all that!

    My thyroid is hypo … meaning my metabolism isn’t quick enough. So I have to take a med to make it normal.
