I would like to thank all who offered their prayers, and support. My daughter went to see the dermatologist today. Everything turned out fine, though she may need to have one mole removed if it grows in size.
My daughter who is 17 runs a high risk of developing melanoma at some point in her life.
Her checkup turned out ok and the doctor said that he was not concerned, but to keep an eye on the moles and alert him if there is any sign of change.
Melanoma is the most serious form of skin cancer. If it is recognized and treated early, it is nearly 100 percent curable.
Thank you again for your caring concerns, encouragement, and most of all for your prayers.
If you liked this post, why not buy me a coffee?

Oh Rose. I am so thankful all turned out OK. I understand your fears. My Great-Grandma died of melanoma and a month ago my youngest daughter had a suspicious growth … dermatologist sliced it off and it came out OK. Big hugs to you and your daughter!
