Bloggerwave Bloggers are reporting fraudulent payments

July 9th, 2007 by Rose DesRochers · 7 Comments

I recently heard about a new advertising company called Bloggerwave that is like PayPerPost.

I was going to sign up, but became very skeptical havingĀ  read some things on top10tech.com.

Many bloggers were reporting that Bloggerwave attempted to pay bloggers with funds that they did not have, resulting in PayPal freezing their accounts.

A Google search also shows several discussions with regards to BloggerWave not paying for reviews posted by members..

What a mess.

In the end I guess that Bloggerwave was cleared and trust was restored by some bloggers as reported on top10tech.com, but I think I’ll play it safe for now and maybe try payperpost.

If you liked this post, why not buy me a coffee?

Bloggerwave was cleared, but they still don’t offer very much. I have seen a total of 3 ops offered to bloggers in the last few months.

As far as PayPerPost goes, you probably won’t have much luck there either. I’ve been with PayPerPost since December of 06, but now there are so many bloggers that it’s really hard to get any ops.

I recommend PayU2Blog. Not only are they a great company, but you don’t have to fight with other bloggers just to get some paying jobs. PayU2Blog assigns jobs specifically to your blog. You just have to login, see what ops are there, and do them. Also, they only require 60 words and 1 link, and your posts can be about anything!

I haven’t heard anything about this one. I have, however, heard that some people make a small fortune with Pay Per Post.

The only drawback being that you must have a pretty decent Google Pagerank to be considered for most of the assignments.

Wow I am really new at this, you mean to tell me you can 1, pay a company to post a comment on your blog and/or 2, you can get paid to post comments?

Bob, PayPerPost is a company that pays bloggers to write positive posts about a product. From my understanding Bloggerwave is set up the same. After 30 days Bloggerwave checks to see if the blog post is still live and still meets the Opportunity requirements. If it does they are suppose to pay you. Payu2blog.com is another network where Bloggers get paid to blog.

I hadn’t heard of PayU2Blog and just signed up for it. It’ll be interesting — they can’t call me at home, only my wife! (I’m in the Philippines, drinking Mai Tai’s and Pina Coladas and such, relaxing in the sun with my massive wealth while my wife is in Phoenix, AZ, USA working her tail end off — not really, but it’s fun to say it.)
