Stumbleupon a Canadian creation that has about 2.3 million users, recently sold themselves to eBay for $75 million. Last night they partied in downtown San Francisco’s Minna Gallery to celebrate.

From May 30, to June 29 I have received 7,395 visits from stumbleupon.com. StumbleUpon, is not only a useful way to generate massive amounts of traffic to my blog, but it also a great way for me to find some interesting sites on the net. I’ve been experimenting with StumbleUpon for the past few months and found a lot of interesting sites and even some unique topics to blog about.

StumbleUpon is the best way to discover great websites. Instead of searching for specific items on Google, I can just hit the Stumble icon in my toolbar.

I wonder what the recent purchase or Stumbleupon by Ebay will mean for Stumbleupon. I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
