For each of you that will be glowing with smiles, and taking Dad out fishing or sitting back with him and sharing a few laughs, there will be those of us whose heart will be aching as we remember the last moments spent with our father’s. My dad died just before my nineteenth birthday, so Father’s Day has always been an emotional day for me and this year I’m finding it even harder.
Dad I miss you so much. I know that you are still watching over me as you always had. I know that you’re with Mom and Katie. I wish I could pick up the phone and call you, but heaven doesn’t have a phone. Happy Father’s Day Dad. I love you.

i know how you feel. i lost my dad when i was 15 yrs. old, two weeks after starting high school. he had been battling cancer and passed away on Sept. 7, 1976. i now have a wonderful step-dad who i am going to call shortly. to my dad, i love and miss you very much.
