Who speaks for the innocent child

June 2nd, 2007 by Rose DesRochers · 10 Comments

I am reading all these pro-choice comments on the net and I can’t help but ask myself who speaks for the innocent unborn child who is unable to speak for themselves.

Every day an innocent baby pays the ultimate price for merely being conceived. We should protect those that are unable to protect themselves. If the innocent could talk, I wonder what they would say. I’m sure they would say, I don’t want to die.

When we hear of a baby being abandoned, abused or murdered it breaks our heart, yet every day women take theĀ  life of an innocent human being.
An unborn baby, what a picture of life and beauty. Yet unborn babies are dieing daily. Babies who will never feel the joy of a mother’s love.

I can’t help but feel sad yet I know tomorrow it will not end and another life will be taken. All I can do is pray that somewhere some woman will seeĀ  life as worthy and say “though I’m not ready to be a mother, I won’t deprive you of being born and a good home. I know that somewhere, someone is waiting to love you.”

If you liked this post, why not buy me a coffee?

Speaking for them is not so popular Rose. It is even frowned upon to call the unborn human. Of course, if we called them human then we might have to suggest that killing them could be wrong. If it was wrong, then who would be held responsible? Can’t have that now, can we?

Pro-Choicers are never going to admit that the unborn are human beings. I am curious as to why someone should have the “right” to choose kill them, but the unborn should not have the “right” to choose to live?

    Sad really.

One comment: There are more abortions than new born babies after “free abortions” here in this country. Payed by the taxpayers. For a “pleasant” moment. Grrr

I recently made the decision to terminate a pregnancy. A decision that was hard and and not without a lot of thought from myself and the father. My mother was put up for adoption and quite frankly the experience was less than happy on her part. I understand not all are like that, but spare a thought for the child…who like me were unplanned and had to live with the fact that they were unwanted from the beginning and more than likely contributed to the breakdown of my parents relationship. I thank god that there is a choice out there…

Anonymous coward, no I do not give up.
I can not and will not accept a position which declares unborn life as unworthy.

Nay, spare a thought for the child? I’m sorry that you were unwanted, however you are here now living and it is up to you & only you to change your life. You do not know nor do you have any way of knowing that children who are adopted will not be loved. So in your opinion it is better for a woman to choose death for her unborn than subject them to the not knowing what kind of life they will have. What a week arguement.

I have to agree that giving a baby up for adoption is better then killing life.

I grew up in an orphanage all my childhood. However, I am still glad that I was given the chance to be alive an then have the opportunity to make my own life. People have a lot more inner strength then what they give themselves credit for. Bad situations can be escaped by choosing differently. Everyone should be given the opportunity to choose what kind of life they want to have. Killing takes away that freedom and that right.
