I was what you would call a “work” friend with this other female at my job. We work 12 hour shifts so it’s a long time to be around each other, and you can do a whole lot of talking in that time. Anyway, i told her something in one of our conversations that i didn’t think was a big deal, just general talk. I told her that someone came into the office looking for a co-worker of ours. I distinctly told this women that i told the person looking for the co-worker that if he gave me HIS name and number i would have the co-worker call him. Well, later that SAME day, i get called into the supervisor’s office and was admonished about GIVING OUT EMPLOYEES PERSONAL INFORMATION! The supervisor automatically believed this woman(a personal friend of his). This women completely turned what i told her around, and obviously reported me to the supervisor. I was upset with this women of course, and vowed to watch what i said to her. Some time later once again she took something i said to her and mixed it up in her mind and told another person completly FALSE information about me. I completely stopped talking toher. But since then she has apologized via internet, i have not responded. The last time she asked(via internet) if i would accept her apology was on the 16th of Sept. 2009. When i still didn’t respond , her last words were “oh well”. On the 17th i started receiving all kinds of junk e-mails, and harrassing phone calls at my personal residence from solicitors saying that i “applied” for this and that on the 16th. I never did such thing. I have an unlisted number, and this woman knows my number and e-mail address. One Saturday i received 15 calls. I can’t PROVE it…but i know it’s the work of this woman. What i don’t understand is…it was HER to start with,that made me make the decision to stop talking with her because of what SHE does with what little information you tell her. And as a result of me not talking to her, ALL OF A SUDDEN i’m hit with hundreds of junk e-mails, and phone calls. I’m just trying to make a living, i’m not here for any drama. She’s single, and lives by her self and is 48 years old. I think this women is sick, and vindictive!

Sad that you all are still having to deal with people that are so unhappy that they are wanting to make other people’s lives unhappy.

Vindictiveness, in my opinion is nothing but fear and insecurity. It takes strength to be honest with yourself and work on that instead of projecting anger on other people. Hang in there Rose, you all are great!

You can bet your last penny that the person/blogger to whom you refer to in this post will twist it as proof of your alleged faults Rose. In their warped world, getting even means they “win” even though the situation was likely never one of winning or losing.

I’m with you on people who have no personal accountability for their actions.

Everyone makes mistakes. It’s how we learn. Taking revenge on another is just not acceptable in my opinion. Revenge just feeds upon itself and the truth hurts often.

As my mother used to say, “as long as you keep your own doorstep clean, don’t worry how clean someone else’s doorstep may be. That’s their problem, not yours.”
